The issue

Certain motorcycles may have been manufactured with the transmission shift drum detent roller spring installed incorrectly, and could fail to provide spring tension onto the roller assembly/shift drum. If this were to occur, there would be no shift drum detent. This could cause unintended gear shifts or return to neutral, which could result in a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will inspect and repair if necessary.

Le ressort­galet de la détente du tambour de changement de vitesse de certaines motocyclettes pourrait avoir été mal posé lors de la fabrication du véhicule et ne pas tendre le galet/tambour de changement de vitesse. Si cela se produisait, il n'y aurait aucune détente du tambour de changement de vitesse. Cela pourrait causer subitement un retour au point mort ou des changements de rapport, ce qui pourrait causer une perte de contrôle du véhicule et augmenter les risques d'un accident blessant quelqu'un ou endommageant des biens matériels. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront effectuer une inspection, ainsi que les réparations nécessaires.
