The issue

The owner's manual for certain vehicles was printed without the CMVSS 208 required information explaining that no objects should be placed over or near the airbag on the instrument panel, because any such objects could cause harm if the vehicle is involved in a crash severe enough to cause the airbag to inflate. Correction: Owners will be provided with an owner's manual insert containing the required airbag information.

Le manuel du propriétaire de certains véhicules ne contient pas l'information requise par la NSVAC 208 selon laquelle aucun objet ne doit être placé sur le coussin gonflable du tableau de bord ou près de celui-ci, car un tel objet pourrait blesser quelqu'un si le véhicule était impliqué dans un accident assez grave pour que le coussin gonflable se déploie. Correction : On donnera aux propriétaires un encart à ajouter dans le manuel du propriétaire et qui contient l'information requise concernant le coussin gonflable.
