The issue

On certain vehicles equipped with an optional jump start stud, corrosion at the base of the stud may cause an electrical short between the stud and battery box resulting in a vehicle fire causing property damage, personal injury, or death. Correction: Dealers will install a new redesigned jump start stud.

Sur certains véhicules munis en option d'une borne de démarrage-secours, de la corrosion à la base de la borne pourrait causer un court-circuit entre la borne et le boîtier de batterie, ce qui provoquerait un incendie, endommagerait des biens matériels, blesserait quelqu'un ou entraînerait des pertes de vies. Correction : Les concessionaire devront installer une nouvelle borne améliorée de démarrage-secours.
