Recall 2015120

The issue

On certain vehicles, brake chamber diaphragm(s) may not be properly seated. This could lead to brake drag, causing brake overheating or unintended spring brake application. These issues could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will replace the brake chambers. Note: This is an expansion of recall 2014-573.

Sur certains véhicules, le ou les diaphragmes de récepteur de frein pourraient avoir été mal fixés en place. Cela pourrait causer un freinage excessif, une surchauffe des freins ou un serrage imprévu des freins à ressort. Ces problèmes pourraient augmenter les risques de collision pouvant entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer les récepteurs de frein. Remarque : Le présent rappel est un prolongement du rappel 2014-573.
