The issue

On certain fire trucks, fasteners used to mount the fan clutch mounting bracket to the front of the engine may shear resulting in the cooling fan, fan clutch, and mounting bracket separating from the engine, which could result in significant equipment damage. If this occurs while the cab is raised, a person in the vicinity of the engine could be struck and injured. Correction: Dealers will replace the fan clutch mounting bracket fasteners.

Sur certains camions d'incendie, les dispositifs de fixation servant à attacher le support de l'embrayage du ventilateur sur l'avant du moteur peuvent se fraturer, ce qui pourrait séparer du moteur le ventilateur de refroidissement, l'embrayage du ventilateur et le support, et causer des dommages importants à l'équipement. Si une personne se trouve près du moteur lorsque la cabine est surélevée et que les dispositifs de fixation se déplacent, elle pourrait être blessée. Correction : Les concessionnaires doivent remplacer les dispositifs de fixation de l'embrayage du ventilateur.
