The issue

Issue: On certain fire trucks, there could be a problem with the circuit board for the electrical multiplex module (Weldon V-Mux Hercules HC 1.5 node). This could cause some vehicle systems not to work properly, including the headlamps and taillamps. Safety Risk: A loss of lighting could cause reduced visibility and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Spartan Fire will notify owners by mail and provide a replacement electrical multiplex module and instructions for how to install it.

Problème : Sur certains camions de pompiers, il pourrait y avoir un problème avec la carte de circuits imprimés du module multiplex électrique (nœud Weldon V-Mux Hercules HC 1.5). Cela pourrait empêcher certains systèmes du véhicule de fonctionner correctement, notamment les phares et les feux arrière. Risques pour la sécurité : Une perte d'éclairage pourrait entraîner une réduction de la visibilité et augmenter le risque d'accident. Mesures correctives : Spartan Fire doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur fournir un module multiplex électrique de rechange ainsi que les instructions sur la façon de l'installer.
