The issue

On some vehicles, due to a misrouted fuel transfer tube inside the fuel tank, the fuel gauge may read higher than the actual level in the fuel tank. This could cause the vehicle to run out of fuel without notice. Engine stalling would result in lost vehicle propulsion which, in conjunction with traffic and road condition, and the driver's reactions, could increase the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect the fuel transfer tube and reroute if necessary.

Sur certains véhicules, à cause d'une canalisation de transfert de carburant mal acheminée à l'intérieur du réservoir à carburant, la jauge à carburant pourrait indiquer un niveau de carburant plus élevé que le véritable niveau dans le réservoir. À cause de cela, le véhicule pourrait tomber en panne sèche. Si le moteur calait, cela causerait une perte de propulsion du véhicule qui, conjointement à la densité de la circulation, à l'état de la route et aux réactions du conducteur, pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident endommageant des biens matériels ou blessant quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter la canalisation de transfert de carburant et la réacheminer si nécessaire.
