Recall 2012357

The issue

On certain vehicles, the wheel rims may have been manufactured incorrectly and could fail. A wheel separating from the vehicle could cause a loss of control and a crash. In addition, the errant wheel assembly could strike a vehicle, stationary object, or a bystander. These issues could result in property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the wheel rims. Note: Further evaluation revealed that no Canadian vehicles are involved.

Sur certains véhicules, les jantes pourraient avoir été mal fabriquées et faire défaut. Une roue qui se détacherait du véhicule pourrait causer une perte de contrôle et un accident. De plus, la roue errante pourrait percuter un véhicule, un objet stationnaire ou une personne se trouvant à proximité. Cela pourrait endommager des biens matériels ou blesser quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter et, si nécessaire, remplacer les jantes. Nota: après plus ample évaluation, il fût découvert qu'aucun véhicule canadien est afecter.
