The issue

Certain vehicles may not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 115 - Vehicle Identification Number. An incorrect world manufacturer identifier may have been used in the composition of the vehicle identification number. Correction: No corrective recall action is required as this technical non-compliance is deemed to be non-safety related.

Certains véhicules pourraient ne pas se conformer aux exigences de la norme de sécurité des véhicules automobiles du Canada 115 – Numéro d'identification du véhicule. Un code d'identification mondiale du constructeur incorrect pourrait avoir été utilisé dans la composition du numéro d'identification du véhicule. Correction : Aucun rappel n'est nécessaire, car cette non-conformité technique n'est pas liée à la sécurité.
