The issue

On certain vehicles equipped with air disc brakes, the brake caliper bolts may have been insufficiently tightened, or an insufficient number of bolts may have been installed at time of vehicle assembly. Loose or missing bolts could allow a caliper to detach from its mount, resulting in partial loss of brake function, which could increase stopping distance and increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace missing bolts, if any, and tighten all caliper bolts to the specified torque.

Sur certains véhicules munis de freins à disque à air comprimé, les boulons des étriers de frein pourraient ne pas avoir été serrés suffisamment, ou un nombre insuffisant de boulons pourraient avoir été posés au moment de l'assemblage du véhicule. Des boulons desserrés ou manquants pourraient permettre à un étrier de se détacher de sa plage de fixation, entraînant une perte partielle des freins, ce qui pourrait augmenter les distances de freinage et augmenter les risques d'accident endommageant des biens matériels ou blessant quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer les boulons manquants, le cas échéant, et resserrer tous les boulons d'étrier au couple spécifié.
