The issue

Certain vehicles may not comply with Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 205 - Glazing Materials. Driver side transition windows may not comply with the requirements of the standard. Non-complying glass could break into shards instead of shattering, which could result in injury. Correction: Dealers will replace windows with ones that comply with CMVSS 205.

Certains véhicules pourraient ne pas se conformer à la norme de sécurité des véhicules automobiles du Canada (NSVAC) 205 – Vitrages. Les fenêtres transition du côté du conducteur pourraient ne pas se conformer aux exigences de la norme. Le verre non conforme pourrait se briser en gros éclats coupants au lieu de très petits fragments non coupants, ce qui pourrait blesser quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer les fenêtres actuelles par des fenêtres conformes à la NSVAC 205.
