The issue

On certain buses equipped with Freedman GO-ES Foldaway Seats, a weld on the seat-back frames may not be adequate. In the event of a crash, the seat occupant(s) may not be properly restrained, which could increase the risk of injury. Correction: Owners are advised to contact the Freedman Seating Company (FSC) at 1-800-443-4540, to get information about proper inspection procedures. Should a seat not pass the inspection, FSC will provide a repair kit and instructions for its installation.

Sur certains autobus munis de sièges escamotables Freedman GO-ES, une soudure sur le cadre du dossier pourrait ne pas être adéquate. En cas d'un accident, la personne assise sur le siège pourrait ne pas être retenue adéquatement, ce qui pourrait augmenter les risques de blessures. Correction : On avise les propriétaires de contacter la Freedman Seating Company (FSC) au 1-800-443-4540 pour obtenir de l'information sur les procédures d'inspection adéquates. Si un siège échouait l'inspection, la FSC devrait fournir une trousse de réparation et des instructions de pose.
