The issue

On certain vehicles, the exterior electrical connections to the side marker lights were not weatherized properly. This could cause these connections to ground against the body and/or frame of the vehicle, which could blow a fuse and increase the risk of fire causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will install heat shrink tubing to repair the wiring.

Sur certains véhicules, les connexions électriques extérieures des feux de position latéraux n'ont pas été bien isolées. Cela pourrait faire en sorte que ces connexions entrent en contact direct avec la carrosserie ou le châssis du véhicule (ou les deux), ce qui pourrait faire griller un fusible et augmenter les risques d'incendie pouvant entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). Correction : Les concessionnaires devront installer une gaine thermorétractable, afin de réparer les câbles.
