The issue

Issue: On certain buses, the brake lines for the rear wheels may not have been connected to the antilock braking system (ABS) control module properly. As a result, the ABS and stability control may not work correctly. Note: This recall only affects certain buses built on a Chevrolet chassis. Safety Risk: An antilock braking system that doesn't work correctly could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: ARBOC will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to reroute and reconnect the rear brake lines correctly.

Problème : Sur certains autobus, les conduites de frein des roues arrière pourraient ne pas avoir été raccordées correctement au module de commande du système de freinage antiblocage (ABS). Par conséquent, l'ABS et le contrôle de stabilité pourraient ne pas fonctionner correctement. Remarque : Ce rappel concerne seulement certains autobus construits sur un châssis Chevrolet. Risques pour la sécurité : Un système de freinage antiblocage qui ne fonctionne pas correctement pourrait augmenter le risque d'accident. Mesures correctives : ARBOC doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur fournir des instructions sur la façon de réacheminer et de reconnecter correctement les conduites de frein arrière.
