The issue

On certain vehicles, fasteners which secure the third-row seat back assembly to the seat cushion assembly may not have been tightened to specification during assembly. This could potentially result in the third row seatback frame separating from the seat cushion frame during a crash, which could increase the risk of injury to vehicle occupants. Correction: Dealers will inspect and tighten fasteners to specification.

Dans certains véhicules, les fixations rattachant le dossier au coussin du siège de troisième rangée pourraient ne pas avoir été serrées conformément aux spécifications d’assemblage pertinentes. Cela pourrait entraîner la séparation des cadres de dossier et de coussin en cas de collision et accroître les risques de blessure aux occupants. Correction : les détaillants doivent inspecter et serrer les fixations selon les spécifications.
