The issue
Certain vehicles may have been equipped with side airbag inflators (located in the front seat backrests) that do not meet specifications. This could cause affected airbags to fail to deploy properly in the event of a lateral crash, which could increase the risk of injury to the occupants. Correction: Dealers will replace affected airbag modules.

Certains véhicules pourraient avoir été munis de générateurs de gaz de coussins gonflables latéraux (situés dans le dossier des sièges avant) qui ne respectent pas les spécifications. Par conséquent, les coussins gonflables touchés pourraient ne pas se déployer correctement lors d'une collision latérale, ce qui pourrait augmenter les risques de blessures pour les occupants. Mesure corrective : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer les modules de coussin gonflable touchés.
