The issue

Issue: On certain motorcycles, the ignition switch wiring could be damaged by contact with the front brake hose. If this happens, the engine could stall or the lights could turn off suddenly. Safety Risk: A loss of engine power and/or a loss of lighting could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Triumph will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to re-route the front brake hose away from the ignition switch wiring.

Problème : Sur certaines motos, le câblage du contacteur d'allumage pourrait s'endommager au contact du flexible de frein avant. Si cela se produit, le moteur pourrait caler ou les feux pourraient s'éteindre soudainement. Risques pour la sécurité : Une perte de puissance du moteur et/ou une perte d'éclairage pourraient augmenter les risques de collision. Mesures correctives : Triumph doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et vous demander d'amener leur moto chez un concessionnaire afin de détourner le flexible de frein avant du câblage du commutateur d'allumage.
