The issue

Issue: On certain motorhomes, a heat shield was not installed between the propane (LP) tank and the exhaust system. As a result, the propane (LP) tank could overheat. Safety Risk: An overheated propane (LP) tank could create a fire risk. Corrective Actions: Thor Motor Coach will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to install a heat shield between the propane (LP) tank and the exhaust system.

Problème : Sur certaines autocaravanes, un écran thermique n'a pas été installé entre le réservoir de propane liquide et le système d'échappement. Par conséquent, le réservoir de propane liquide peut surchauffer. Risques pour la sécurité : Un réservoir de propane liquide qui surchauffe peut créer un risque d'incendie. Mesures correctives : Thor Motor Coach doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur autocaravane chez un concessionnaire pour faire installer un écran protecteur entre le réservoir de propane liquide et le système d'échappement.
