The issue

Issue: On certain trucks and walk-in vans, the steering gear may not have been assembled correctly. As a result, the steering gear could break and cause a loss of steering. Safety Risk: A loss of steering control could create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) will contact owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.

Problème : Dans certains camions et camions de type fourgon, le mécanisme de direction pourrait avoir été mal assemblé. Par conséquent, le mécanisme pourrait se briser et causer une perte de maîtrise de la direction. Risques pour la sécurité : Une perte de maîtrise de la direction pourrait créer un risque d'accident.
