The issue

Issue: On certain electric trucks, the contactors for the high-voltage power system could open. If this happens, there could be a sudden loss of power to the wheels. Safety Risk: A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: PACCAR will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to update the vehicle software and replace a wiring harness.

Problème : Sur certains camions électriques, les contacteurs du système d'alimentation à haute tension pourraient s'ouvrir. Si cela se produisait, il pourrait y avoir une perte soudaine de puissance aux roues. Risques pour la sécurité : Une perte de puissance aux roues pourrait accroître les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : PACCAR doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur camion chez un concessionnaire pour faire mettre à jour le logiciel du véhicule et remplacer un faisceau de câbles.
