The issue

HOOD HINGE LINK ASSEMBLIES MAY BE SUSCEPTIBLE TO DISENGAGEMENT OF THE HOOD ASSIST SPRING. IF THE SPRING WERE TO DISENGAGE, THE REMAINING HOOD HGINGE ASSEMBLY WOULD NOT BE SUFFICIENT TO MAINTAIN THE HOOD IN AN OPEN POSITION AND IT WOULD FALL UNDER ITS OWN WEIGHT, THEREBY EXPOSING INDIVIDUALS IN THE VICINITY OF THE OPEN HOOD TO POSSIBLE INJURIES.

Le ressort auxiliaire de capot est susceptible de se détacher des charnières de ce dernier. S'il se détachait, les charnières ne pourraient pas maintenir le capot ouvert; celui-ci retomberait de lui-même et pourrait ainsi occasionner des blessures aux personne qui se trouveraient tout prés.
