The issue
On certain vehicles, the inner tie rod to relay rod nuts on the steering linkage may have been improperly torqued and not crimped. A loss of one or both of these nuts could lead to the inner tie rod disengaging from the relay rod. This could result in loss of steering control and vehicle crash without prior warning. Correction: Steering linkage assembly will be replaced. Note: these vehicles are located in prince edward island and newfoundland.

Sur certains véhicules, les écrous qui retiennent les biellettes de direction à la barre d'accouplement sont mal serrés et non sertis. Si l'un des écrous se défait, la biellette de direction se sépare de la barre d'accouplement et rend la direction inutilisable, ce qui risque fortement de provoquer un accident.
