The issue

On certain C3500, G3 and P30 vehicles, the left hand lower control arm can crack starting at the rear flange and progress to the ball joint mounting hole and eventually cause the lower ball joint to separate from the control arm. This could result in loss of vehicle control and a crash without prior warning. Correction: Dealers will install a reinforcement brace to the left-hand lower control arm.

Sur certains C3500, G3 et P30, le bras de suspension inférieur gauche peut développer une fissure qui pourrait éventuellement aller du collet arrière jusqu'à l'orifice de montage du joint à rotule inférieur de se détacher du bras de suspension. Cela pourrait entraîner une perte de la maîtrise du véhicule et causer un accident sans avertissement.
