The issue

On certain trucks, the brake return springs on the front brakes may contact the front hubs. Over time the hub may wear the spring shank to the point of spring failure. A piece of the failed spring may become lodged in the brake cam causing the brake to drag. This could cause the steering to pull to one side without prior warning and a crash could occur. Correction: Front hubs will be replaced.

Sur certains camions, le ressort de rappel des freins avant peut toucher au moyeu. À la longue, il se peut que la tige du ressort s'use au point de se rompre. Un morceau de ressort peut se loger dans la came du frein et causer un frottement. La direction pourrait alors se mettre soudainement à tirer d'un côté, ce qui peut représenter un risque d'accident. Correction: Les moyeux des roues avant devront être remplacés sur les véhicules visés.
