The issue

Note: motorhome chassis. On certain vehicles, water in the accelerator cable may be susceptible to freezing potentially preventing the throttle from returning to idle when the accelerator pedal is released. This could result in increased stopping distances and could potentially result in a crash. Correction: A revised accelerator cable will be installed.

Nota : Châssis de roulottes automobiles. S’il y a de l’eau dans le câble de l’accélérateur, le gel peut empêcher le câble du papillon de gaz de revenir au ralenti quand on cesse d’appuyer sur l’accélérateur, ce qui pourrait faire augmenter les distances de freinage et causer un accident. Correction : Un nouveau câble d’accélérateur devra être installé sur les véhicules visés.
