The issue

On certain vehicles, the engine ground strap connectors were improperly crimped onto the braided strap, causing the ground strap not to provide proper electrical ground between the engine and the chassis. If this happens, the electrical system will seek a ground at the ignition coil and may cause the coil's ground cable to overheat and the engine to stop. Correction: Dealer will replace the engine ground strap.

Sur certains véhicules, les connecteurs de la courroie de masse du moteur ont été mal fixés au conducteur de connexion à la masse et la courroie de masse ne fournit donc pas une bonne liaison de masse entre le moteur et le châssis. Le système électrique cherchera alors à établir la masse avec la bobine d'allumage et cela pourrait faire surchauffer le câble de masse de la bobine et arrêter le moteur. Correction : Le concessionnaire devra remplacer la courroie de masse du moteur.
