The issue

On certain vehicles, the windshield may have been incorrectly manufactured and could contain air particles trapped between the glass layers. As a result, the windshield may develop air bubbles when exposed to high temperatures, such as when the vehicle is parked in the sun with the windows closed, in ambient temperatures greater than 26ºC. Air bubbles will develop gradually over time. If the windshield is not replaced when the bubbles first appear, they may interfere with the ability of the driver to see the road and its users, which could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Should air bubbles develop in the windshield, Ford will replace the windshield free of charge up to 12 months or 20,000 km from first vehicle registration

Sur certains véhicules, le pare-brise pourrait présenter des vices de fabrication et contenir des bulles d'air emprisonnées entre les couches de verre. En conséquence, des bulles d'air pourraient se former dans le pare-brise lorsque celui-ci est soumis à des températures élevées comme lorsque le véhicule est stationné au soleil avec les fenêtres fermées lorsque la température ambiante est supérieure à 26 ºC. Des bulles d'air se formeront graduellement à la longue. Si on ne remplace pas le pare-brise lors de l'apparition des bulles, ces bulles pourraient empêcher le conducteur de voir la route et ses usagers, ce qui pourrait causer un accident, endommager des biens matériels ou blesser quelqu'un. Correction : Si des bulles d'air se formaient dans le pare-brise, Ford remplacerait le pare­brise sans frais jusqu'à 12 mois ou 20 000 km depuis l'immatricution du véhicule.
