The issue
On certain motorcycles, the side stand interlock switch bolts could loosen and fall out. This could allow the switch to rotate, cutting off the ignition circuit, causing the engine to stall. Engine stalling would result in lost vehicle propulsion which, in conjunction with traffic and road condition, and the rider's reactions, could increase the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the side stand interlock switch bolts.

Sur certaines motocyclettes, les boulons de l'interrupteur de sécurité de la béquille pourraient se desserrer et tomber. Cela pourrait laisser l'interrupteur pivoter, ce qui couperait le circuit d'allumage et ferait caler le moteur. Si le moteur calait, cela entraînerait une perte de propulsion du véhicule qui, en conjonction avec la densité de la circulation, l'état de la route et les réactions du conducteur, pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident endommageant des biens matériels ou blessant quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer les boulons de l'interrupteur de sécurité de la béquille.
