The issue

On certain motorcycles, the fuel pump O-ring may have been twisted during installation and may not seal properly. This could result in a fuel leak, which in the presence of an ignition source, could increase the risk of fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the fuel pump O-ring and fuel tank inner vessel with improved parts.

Sur certaines motocyclettes, le joint torique de la pompe à carburant pourrait avoir été tordu lors de sa pose et pourrait ne pas assurer une étanchéité adéquate. Cela pourrait causer une fuite de carburant qui, en présence d'une source d'inflammation, pourrait augmenter les risques d'un incendie blessant quelqu'un ou endommageant des biens matériels. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer le joint torique de la pompe à carburant et le contenant intérieur du réservoir à carburant par des pièces améliorées.
