The issue
On certain motorhomes, the wiper arms could detach from the vehicle. Loss of windshield wiping capability, should it occur during a rainy/snowy day, may compromise the driver's ability to see the road and its users, which could result in a crash. In addition, a wiper arm separating from the vehicle could strike another vehicle, stationary object, or a bystander. These issues could result in property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the shafts attaching the arms to the wiper linkage.

Sur certaines autocaravanes, les bras d'essuie-glace pourraient se détacher du véhicule. Si les essuie-glaces cessaient de fonctionner lorsqu'il pleut ou qu'il neige, cela pourrait empêcher le conducteur de voir la route et causer un accident. De plus, un bras d'essuie-glace qui se détacherait du véhicule pourrait aller percuter un autre véhicule, un objet stationnaire ou une personne se trouvant à proximité. Cela pourrait endommager des biens matériels ou blessser quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer les arbres qui fixent les bras à la tringlerie d'essuie-glace.
