The issue

Issue: On certain motorhomes, the bolts that attach the rear axle to the suspension may not have been properly tightened. As a result, the bolts could loosen and allow the rear axle to shift. Safety Risk: A rear axle that is not properly attached could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Jayco will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to an authorized Shyft Group Inc. repair facility to inspect and tighten the rear suspension fasteners. Any damaged fasteners will be replaced.

Problème : Sur certaines autocaravanes, les écrous qui fixent l'essieu arrière à la suspension peuvent ne pas avoir été serrés adéquatement. Par conséquent, les boulons peuvent se desserrer et l'essieu arrière pourrait bouger. Risques pour la sécurité : Un essieu arrière mal fixé peut causer une perte de maîtrise et augmenter les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : Jayco doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur autocaravane chez un réparateur autorisé Shyft Group Inc. pour faire inspecter et serrer les dispositifs de fixation de la suspension arrière. Tout dispositif de fixation endommagé sera remplacé.
