The issue

On certain trucks, an electrical short circuit in the fog light circuitry could result in a loss of low beam headlamp function. Loss of headlamp illumination, should it occur during a rainy/snowy day, or during hours of darkness, could compromise the driver’s ability to see the road and its users, which could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will add an extra wiring harness between the cab harness and the Daytime Running Lamp (DRL) module, in order to isolate the fog light circuit.

Sur certains camions, un court-circuit dans le circuit des feux anti­brouillard pourrait faire en sorte que les feux de croisement cessent de fonctionner. Si cela se produisait lorsqu'il pleut, qu'il neige ou qu'il fait noir, la capacité du conducteur à voir la route et ses usagers pourrait être compromise, ce qui pourrait causer un accident endommageant des biens matériels ou blessant quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront ajouter un faisceau de câbles entre le faisceau de la cabine et le module des feux de jour pour isoler le circuit des feux anti-brouillard.
