The issue

On certain vehicles, the tape used to stow the airbag curtain at the A pillar position could negatively affect the deployment of the side impact curtain airbag, which could increase the risk of injury in a side impact and/or rollover event. Correction: Dealers will remove the tape on the side airbag inflated curtain.

Sur certains véhicules, le ruban utilisé pour maintenir en place le rideau gonflable au niveau du montant avant pourrait nuire au déploiement du rideau gonflable latéral, ce qui pourrait augmenter les risques de blessures en cas de collision latérale ou de capotage (ou les deux). Correction : Les concessionnaires devront retirer le ruban sur le rideau gonflable latéral.
