The issue
Issue: On certain buses, the outer handle for the roof hatch (emergency exit) could break. If this happens, it would be difficult to open the roof hatch from outside the bus. Safety Risk: An emergency exit that is difficult to open could increase the risk of injury in an emergency. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to contact Specialty Manufacturing Inc. (SMI), who will provide replacement parts and instructions on how to replace the roof hatch outer handle.

Problème : Sur certains autobus, la poignée extérieure de la trappe de toit (issue de secours) pourrait se briser. Si cela se produisait, il serait difficile d'ouvrir la trappe de toit de l'extérieur de l'autobus. Risques pour la sécurité : Une issue de secours difficile à ouvrir pourrait augmenter les risques de blessures en cas d'urgence. Mesures correctives : Le constructeur doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste. Les propriétaires seront invités à communiquer avec Specialty Manufacturing Inc.
