The issue

Issue: On certain vehicles, the fuel vapour separator contains a manufacturing defect which could allow for a small fuel leak. Safety Risk: Leaking fuel, in the presence of an ignition source, creates the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take their vehicle to a dealer to have fuel vapour separator replaced.

Problème : Sur certains véhicules, le séparateur carburant/vapeurs présente un défaut de fabrication qui pourrait entraîner une petite fuite de carburant. Risques pour la sécurité : Les fuites de carburant, en présence d'une source d'inflammation, créent un risque d'incendie. Mesures correctives : Le constructeur doit aviser les propriétaires par courrier d'apporter leur véhicule chez un concessionnaire pour faire remplacer le séparateur carburant/vapeurs.
