The issue

Issue: On certain motorhomes, the bolts on the steering column shaft may not have been properly tightened. If a bolt comes loose, there could be a complete loss of steering control. Safety Risk: A loss of steering could create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will contact owners and advise them to inspect the bolts on the steering column shaft. The motorhome should not be driven until this inspection is performed. The company will provide further directions for the inspection and for how to correct the problem.

Problème Dans certaines autocaravanes, les boulons de l'arbre de colonne de direction pourraient ne pas avoir été adéquatement serrés, si bien qu'ils pourraient se dégager et entraîner une perte complète de contrôle de la direction. Risque en matière de sécurité Une perte de contrôle de la direction peut poser un risque d'accident. Mesures correctives L'entreprise communiquera avec les propriétaires et leur demandera d'inspecter les boulons. Aucune autocaravane touchée ne devrait être conduite avant leur inspection. L'entreprise leur donnera d'autres instructions au sujet de l'inspection et de la manière de régler le problème.
