The issue

Issue: On certain motorhomes, the taillight warning light may turn on even when the taillights are working properly. As a result, the motorhomes don't meet certain requirements of Canadian regulations. Safety Risk: A taillight warning light that doesn't work properly could cause confusion and make the driver unaware if the taillights are working correctly. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Jayco will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to replace the taillight harness.

Problème : Sur certaines autocaravanes, le témoin lumineux des feux arrière pourrait s'allumer même lorsque les feux arrière fonctionnent correctement. Par conséquent, les autocaravanes ne respectent pas certaines exigences de la réglementation canadienne. Risques pour la sécurité : Un témoin de feux arrière qui ne fonctionne pas correctement pourrait causer de la confusion et empêcher le conducteur de savoir si les feux arrière fonctionnent correctement. Cela pourrait augmenter le risque d'accident. Mesures correctives : Jayco doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur autocaravane chez un concessionnaire pour remplacer le faisceau de câbles des feux arrière.
