EU safety alerts
Safety Gate, the European Union's rapid alert system, names the 458 Italia in 4 alerts. European versions can differ from the North American car.
The cap on the brake-fluid reservoir may not be able to provide proper ventilation enabling atmospheric pressure to be maintained within the reservoir itself. This may cause the vehicle to lose some or all of its braking capacity, increasing the risk of an acc…
In the event of deployment of the front passenger airbag, a fault in the gas generator can cause uncontrolled inflation of the airbag.
In the event of an impact, the driver's side airbag may not deploy properly.
A possible crack in the crankshaft may lead to engine failure and might cause the engine to seize which may lead to a road accident.
