The issue
On certain vehicles, a Parking brake solenoid valve malfunction may result in an intermittent inoperative park brake application. If this should occur and the "SERVICE PARK BRAKE" warning light goes unnoticed and the operator exits the vehicle, the vehicle could roll away, resulting in a possible crash. Correction: The parking brake solenoid valve will be replaced with a modified version.

Sur certains véhicules, un mauvais fonctionnement du solénoïde du frein de stationnement peut se traduire par une défaillance intermittente du mécanisme. Si cela se produit et que le conducteur ne s’aperçoit pas avant de sortir du véhicule que le voyant «SERVICE PARK BRAKE» s’est allumé, il se peut que le véhicule se déplace tout seul et cause un accident. Correction: Le solénoïde du frein de stationnement devra être remplacé par un nouveau dispositif.
