The issue

On certain Volvo 780, 944SE and 945SE, there is the possibility of chafing of the insulation on the cables feeding the seat heater, power seat motors and seatbelt warning indicator. This could lead to a low amp short circuit. These cables are located under the front seat. Correction: Cables will be inspected and if necessary, repaired or replaced.

Sur certaines Volvo 780, 944SE et 945SE, il se peut que l’isolation des câbles d’alimentation du chauffage des sièges, des moteurs des sièges électriques et de l’avertisseur des ceintures de sécurité s’use par frottement. Il peut alors se produire un court-circuit de basse intensité. Ces câbles se trouvent sous le siège avant. Correction : Les câbles devront être inspectés et réparés ou remplacés au besoin.
