The issue
On certain Volvo 780, the Electronic Control Unit, which activates the Supplemental Restraint System may not function as designed. This may result in the airbag inflation module and seat belt pre-tensioner not functioning properly in a crash situation resulting in an increased risk of personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the Electronic Control Unit.

Sur certaines Volvo 750, l'unité de commande électronique qui met sous tension le système de retenue d'appoint peut ne pas fonctionner comme prévu. Il peut s'ensuivre que le module de gouflage du coussin d'air et le prétendeur de la ceinture de sécurité ne fonctionnent pas correctement lors d'une collision, augmentant les risques de blessure pour les passagers.
