The issue

On certain vehicles, the left hand windshield wiper pivot drive arm was not mechanically staked to the pivot shaft. This may allow the drive arm to disengage from the shaft and lead to a loss of wiper function. Correction: The left windshield wiper pivot assembly will be replaced with one that incorporates an improved mechanical connection of the drive link to the pivot shaft.

Sur certains véhicules, l’emboutissage mécanique du bras d’entraînement du pivot d’essuie-glace gauche sur l’arbre de pivot n’est pas adéquat, ce qui peut permettre au bras d’entraînement de se désolidariser de l’arbre et causer une panne d’essuie-glace. Correction : Le pivot de l’essuie-glace gauche devra être remplacé par un composant qui est doté d’une connexion mécanique plus efficace entre la biellette d’entraînement et l’arbre de pivot.
