The issue

Certain vehicles do not comply with the requirements of CMVSS 108 - Lighting System and Retroreflective Devices. The daytime running lamps (DRL) do not function when the manual lighting switch is in the park lamp position. The standard requires that the daytime running lamps be on continuously unless the master lighting switch is in the park lamp position. Correction: The body controller will be reprogrammed with software that will correct this condition.

Certains véhicules ne satisfassent pas aux exigences de la NSVAC 108 - Système d'éclairage et dispositifs rétroréfléchissants. Les feux de jours ne s'allument pas quand le commutateur d'éclairage manuel est à la position feux de stationnement. La norme exige que les feux de jour soient toujours allumés, à moins que le commutateur d'éclairage principal soit à la position feux de stationnement. Correction : L'ordinateur fonctionnel devra être réprogrammé à l'aide d'un logiciel qui corrige la situation.
