The issue
Certain sport utility vehicles are being recalled for a software error in the instrument cluster microprocessor. Under certain conditions, the cluster, with the majority of its gauges, illumination, and warning lamps, could become inoperative. Driving the vehicle with an inoperative cluster could cause a distraction, increasing the risk of a crash. Correction: Dealers will re-flash the cluster software to correct the condition .

Certains véhicules sport utilitaires sont rappelés pour une erreur de logiciel du système d'instrumentation du tableau de bord. Dans certaines circonstances, le tableau de bord avec l’ensemble de ses jauges, lampes témoin et éclairage pourrait cesser de fonctionner. L'opération d'un véhicule avec un tableau de bord défectueux pourrait causer une distraction, augmentant ainsi les risques d'une collision. Les concessionnaires corrigeront cette défectuosité par la reprogrammation du système d'instrumentation du tableau de bord.
