The issue

Certain vehicles do not comply with the requirements of CMVSS 120. The rear Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) is incorrectly listed on the compliance label of certain 2003 E250 vans equipped with LT225/75R16E tires. In addition the tire pressure is incorrectly listed on the label for the rear tires on certain 2002 E350 wagons and for the front tires on certain 2002 and 2003 E250 vans equipped with LT225/75R16E tires. Correction: Ford will mail supplementary tire labels containing correct information to the affected owners with instructions for installation of the label.

Certains véhicules ne se conforment pas aux exigences de la NSVAC 120. Le poids technique maximal sous essieu arrière inscrit sur l'étiquette de conformité de certains fourgons E250 2003 équipés de pneus LT225/75R16E est incorrect. De plus, la pression des pneus arrière de certains fourgons E350 2002 et la pression des pneus avant de certains fourgons E250 2002 et 2003 équipés de pneus LT225/75R16E inscrites sur l'étiquette sont incorrectes. Correction : Ford devra poster des étiquettes corrigées aux propriétaires touchés; ces étiquettes devront être accompagnées des instructions nécessaires à leur installation.
