The issue

On certain vehicles, the paint used on the body structure may contain a defect that could allow the top layer to separate. In the event of a crash, this could allow the windows to peel away from the vehicles due to insufficient adhesion in between the layers of paint, increasing the risk of injury. Correction : Dealers will renew the paintwork of the affected areas.

Sur certains véhicules, la peinture utilisée sur la carrosserie pourrait contenir un défaut qui pourrait permettre à la couche supérieure de se séparer de la carrosserie. En cas d'accident, les fenêtres pourraient se détacher du véhicule en raison d'une adhésion insuffisante entre les couches de peinture, ce qui augmenterait les risques de blessures. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront repeindre les zones touchées.
