The issue
On certain K3 and K4 motorhome chassis' equipped with Cummins ISX 15 engines, the drive gear on the fuel pump may spin loose on the drive shaft. This could result in a loss of pumping function, which could result in an engine stall without warning and not being able to be restarted, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Spartan Service Centers will replace the fuel pump.

Sur certains châssis d'autocaravanes K3 et K4 munis de moteurs Cummins ISX 15, l'engrenage de la pompe à carburant pourrait ne pas s'engager sur l'arbre d'entraînement. Cela pourrait arrêter le fonctionnement de la pompe et entraîner le calage du moteur sans avertissement et empêcher ce dernier de pouvoir être remis en marche, augmentant ainsi les risques d'accident pouvant entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). Mesure corrective : Les centres de services Spartan devront remplacer la pompe à carburant.
