The issue
On certain Volvo 740 and 760 equipped with air conditioning, the engine wiring harness might chafe against an air conditioning pipe which could cause a short circuit and malfunctioning of the electrical system. This could cause charring of the insulation and result in a possible engine compartment fire. Correction: Wiring harness will be relocated and secured by a new bracket and clamp.

Sur certaines Volvo 740 et 760, le câlbage du moteur peut frotter contre une conduite du climatiseur, s'user et provoquer une défectuosité du circuit électrique. L'isolant risque alors de prendre feu et de provoquer un incendie sous le capot.
