The issue
On certain P30 vehicles, a Fluid leak in the auto-apply hydraulic parking brake system may cause the parking brake to apply while the vehicle is being driven. This would cause the brakes to drag and the "brake" telltale to come on. If the driver ignores the "brake" telltale and continues to drive with the parking brake applied, the parking brake system could fail. If the driver then attempted to park the vehicle and released the brake pedal, the motor home could roll. Correction: An auto-park brake system service kit will be installed, the hydraulic power system will be bled and the parking brake will be adjusted.

Sur certains P30, une fuite de liquide au niveau du circuit hydraulique du frein de stationnement automatique pourrait provoquer l'application du frein de stationnement, même quand le véhicule est en mouvement. Il se pourrait alors que les freins se mettent à frotter et que le voyant «BRAKE» s'allume. Si le conducteur ne remarque pas le voyant et continue à rouler, le frein de stationnement peut faire défaut et être tout à fait inefficace lorsque l'on voudra immobiliser le véhicule en stationnement. Correction: Il faudra modifier le système de frein de stationnement automatique, purger le circuit hydraulique et refaire le réglage du frein de stationnement.
