The issue

On certain vehicles, the steering column boot may interfere with the steering shaft during turns. This may cause the boot to become entangled on the shaft resulting in a greater than expected force required to turn the steering wheel which, in turn, may increase the possibility of a crash. Correction: Dealers will replace the steering column boot.

Sur certains véhicules, le cache poussière de la colonne de direction pourrait entrer en contact avec l'arbre de direction lorsque le conducteur tourne le volant, ce qui pourrait provoquer l'entortillement du cache poussière autour de l'arbre de direction, augmentant ainsi la force nécessaire pour tourner le volant; cette augmentation pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer le cache poussière de la colonne de direction.
